Tomato – 3
Coconut grated – 1/4th of a coconut
Onion –1
Oil – as required.
Mustard – some
Dried red chilly –2 (cut in to two pieces)
Cumin – some
Garlic –2
Ginger – a small piece
Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
Chilly powder – ½ teaspoon
Green chilly – 2
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Grind coconut, cumin, garlic and ginger with water. Cut the onion, green chilly and tomato in small pieces. In a mud vessel take some oil and put the mustard. When it pops add the dried red chilly and then the curry leaves. Add the cut onion and green chilly and when its colour changes put the tomato too. When the tomato gets cooked and well smashed add the turmeric and chilly powder to it. Mix the grinded coconut paste to it and salt. Add water if required and let it boil well. The tomato coconut curry is ready.
